However, if your surface is slightly loose (for example, if the ground has been dug up recently), then it is possible that the SunnyTent can lift the twist pegs out of the ground in windy conditions. By purchasing extra-long twist pegs (approx. 13.8 inches long) you ensure more grip, because they go deeper into the ground.

Use Pipes or Tubes:

Obtain pieces of pipe or tube that are approximately 28 in long with a diameter of roughly 20 in.
Insert these pipes vertically into the ground at the locations where the hinged anchors, twist pegs, and cross pole set need to be anchored in the ground.
Fill these tubes to the top with gravel. Follow the gravel with fine-grained sand. Slowly pour water into the pipes to ensure the sand fills all the gaps and crevices between the gravel. It's important to ensure that each tube is completely filled.
Let the contents of the tubes dry for approximately two days. After the drying period, you can securely install the hinged anchors, twist pegs, and cross pole set into these prepared tubes.
